Apple has released a software update


Apple has released a software update to fix a security flaw in their iOS system.
The vulnerability was first exposed ten days ago when the website, www.jailbreakme.com, released a code that could be used to modify the iOS operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch owners to allow them to 'jail break' their devices.
Jail breaking is a term used to describe a way bypassing Apple only approved applications and allows devices to download unapproved programmes or to use alternative network carriers.
