Amazon has commenced it's first multimedia tablet

Amazon has commenced it's first multimedia tablet, which it expects will rival Apple's iPad.
Amazon's creator Jeff Bezos broadcast the Kindle Fire's arrival in New York the recent past.
The tablet will run a modified version of Google's machine operating system and will be capable of multitasking, allowing the user to read and listen to music at the same time for example.
The Fire features a 7 inch IPS, (in-plane switching) screen, a dual core processor, 1024 x 600 resolution and 8GB internal storage.
The biggest selling point of the Fire, which weighs 413 grammas, must be the price, $199, (£130 app), although UK pricing is yet to be long-established.
Shipping will begin on November 15th in the US.
